Give a Dog a Home Sponsorship

Our law office will be joining forces with Faithful Friends Animal Shelter by sponsoring dog adoptions! The sponsorship of each animal covers spay/neuter, a microchip, and any age appropriate vaccines. Please join us to adopt your very own animal for free! To learn more, check out our event page.

Georgetown Hispanic Fair

With three events this weekend, the firm has taken part in a trifecta of activities. We attended the Hispanic fair in Georgetown yesterday and spoke with hundreds of people. We had a great time, and special thanks go out to Jennie, Liza, and Yokayra for helping out on Sunday.

House Bill 277

Our Partner Tara Bustard pictured here, present at the signing of House Bill 277 by Governor John Carney. Tara was there as President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association who worked hard to get HB 277 passed. The purpose of the bill is to help protect Delaware’s students from teachers who would abuse their own students. We are proud of the work Tara put in to protect Delaware’s children.

Kids’ Chance of Delaware Golf Open

On July 18th, Eric and Cynthia participated in The Inaugural Kids’ Chance of Delaware Golf Open at DuPont Country Club. Doroshow Pasquale Krawitz & Bhaya are longstanding supporters of Kids’ Chance of Delaware, which provides scholarships for college and vocational education to children of Delaware workers who have been fatally or seriously injured in a work-related accident, resulting in financial need.

2021 DELAWARE TRIAL LAWYERS ASSOCIATION FOOD DRIVE

We are happy to announce the completion of another successful food drive for DTLA. The food collected in this drive is donated to the Food Bank of Delaware to directly support the community. Melanie Bonk assisted with the transport along with our partners Tara Bustard (President-Elect of DTLA) and James Donovan (Vice President of DTLA). The overall donation was 967 pounds of food for people in need of food this Holiday Season. Thanks again to everyone who donated.

Maxima 104.1 FM

Oscar and Eric were interviewed by Kevin Andrade. The interview covered auto insurance and was simulcast both upstate and downstate on Maxima 104.1 FM.

Delaware Hispanic Festival

DP Law Firm had a wonderful time at the Hispanic Festival this September! It was a great day to appreciate and celebrate the diversity of Hispanic heritage in Delaware. There was music and dancing performed by local and international groups, traditional arts and crafts, and lots of delicious Latino foods to try. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth!

Back To School

DP Law Firm was happy to participate in a back-to-school drive donating supplies to help children get the necessary materials to succeed. We are excited to share that we donated supplies to three different schools; Austin D. Baltz Elementary School, May B. Leasure Elementary School, and North Smyrna Elementary. We are passionate about giving back to the community and love causes that help us do just that!

Toys for Tots

In 2019 and 2020 our law offices helped run a Toys for Tots drive. This is an amazing cause that donates unopened toys to children in need in the community. We are thrilled to be able to participate in events such as this one. A big thank you to everyone who donated!

Delaware Trial Lawyer Association (DTLA) Food Drive

Our Newark office was proud to team up with the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association in collecting food donations for the Food Bank of Delaware for the 2020 Holiday Season. We are so thankful to everyone who donated. This event was a huge success and we plan to do it again next year!

Annual Elsmere Holiday Parade

At the Annual Elsmere Holiday Parade, our firm has been handing out various gifts since 2013. Some items we have provided over the years include balloons, cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, and even little gift baggies to the children in attendance. We have a wonderful time every year and plan to participate in the parade again in the coming years! Check out more pictures from past parades here and here!

Middletown Olde-Tyme Peach Festival

In 2018, our law offices sponsored the annual Peach Festival. This popular event supports the Middletown Historical Society, which is an organization that works to preserve the history and culture of Middletown. Dover Days Festival

DP Law was proud to participate in the Dover Days Festival! This annual event features a parade and local vendors. We had a wonderful time! Sadly the 2021 festival was canceled due to the pandemic but we look forward to attending again in 2022! Check out our booth at the event here.
