In 1979, Gary began representing Social Security claimants and ultimately devoted his practice exclusively to that area. He became widely recognized as one of the leading Social Security Disability attorneys in the region and frequently spoke at national conferences. He was honored as Delaware Today’s “Top Lawyer” in Social Security Disability every year since the category was first established.

Gary was also deeply committed to educational, environmental, and civic causes. He served on the boards of the Red Clay and Cab Calloway school districts. He served as President of Friends of Wilmington Parks, Delaware Greenways, Inc., the Highlands Community Association, Oak Grove Senior Center, and Helen Graham Senior Center. He also served as Co-Chair of the Brandywine Valley National Scenic Byway Partnership.

At the time of his passing, Gary was in the process of merging his practice with Doroshow Pasquale Krawitz & Bhaya and becoming associated with the firm as Of Counsel. We are grateful for his friendship, the trust he placed in our firm and for the confidence his clients have shown in allowing us to continue assisting them. Gary will be remembered for his dedication, perseverance, generosity, and lifelong commitment to helping others. His impact on his clients, colleagues, community, and the practice of law will endure for years to come.
